First Quarter 2023 Trends
Masturbation saw rises in both Gay and Straight theaters in the first quarter of 2023. Straight viewers showed renewed interest in Redheads and Vampires while users on the Gay theaters got excited for Leather and Punishment.
STRAIGHT
In Q1 we don’t see many shakeups in the top 10. Taboo and Fetish held their ground at the 1st and 10th positions, respectively. Anal and Threeway both lost 2 spots while MILF and Interracial jumped 2 each. One trend of note, Cumshot jumped 4, putting it back in the top 10 for the first time since Q1 2012.
Masturbation and Redhead had the largest upward swing with 38 points each. Vampire was hot on their heels with a gain of 36. Hidden Camera, Voyeur, and Softcore all dropped 32 points.
GAY
Top 10 moves of note in the first quarter of 2023 include Twink overtaking Daddy to put it in the 5th spot. Uncut gains 2 putting it in the 10th spot after dropping off last quarter. Interracial gains 6 points to return after 3 quarters off the top 10 while Black moves up 8 spots putting it on the list for the first time 2021.
Leather saw the biggest gains this quarter with an upward move of 17. Straight for Gay movies up 16, Masturbation and Punishment gain 13 and 12 points, respectively. Downward trends include Massage and Gender Queer both dropping 13 points and Hidden Camera dropping 10.
